Lauren Patrice Nadler
Actress/ Director/Coach/ is in prep to direct her second feature film "Cerebral" the first being "The Bliss" featuring Bill McKinney (Deliverance) and Beth Grant (little miss sunshine) Prior to this project, Lauren directed "In My Life" as well as 2 award winning shorts "Deadgirl" and "Massage Therapy". Her favorite project to date is her LA directorial debut, "El Mariachi Negro", starring Kasan Butcher, which screened at the Cultures Collide Community Film Festival in NY. Due to an independent film casting career that began over 10 years ago in NY, resulting in casting 2002 Academy Award winner Adrian Brody of "The Pianist" in his first lead role in "Ten Benny" and "Restaurant", Lauren often landed on the set of at least a dozen indie films as 1st AD. As a Bi-coastal Director/casting director/coach/actress, Lauren has spent a large portion of her industry career teaching acting, directing off-Broadway shows and coaching countless actors towards success. This is the 19th industry showcase (14 of which were bicoastal) that she has directed. She maintains an intense passion for acting and she has returned to it recently, appearing in roles on "Everybody Hates Chris" and "Without a Trace." |
